How much does our service cost?

We don’t give prices on our website, because every project is individually costed based on the information you provide.

When you contact us for a quotation, we will ask you for information on:

• How many speakers: To ensure your quote is priced correctly, it's important for us to know the number of speakers.  
• Your deadline: We offer various turnaround options to meet your requirements and budget:

  • 5 working days
  • 10 working days
  • 15 working days
• Do you require Verbatim or Intelligent Verbatim style:
  • Verbatim – including every filler word or interjection if crucial for your analysis (including all ums and ers, pauses).
  • Intelligent Verbatim - we edit out the filler words, repetitions, unnecessary interjections and non-verbal speech events. If the focus is on readability and efficiency, intelligent verbatim might be suitable as it provides a cleaner and more concise transcript, dropping out any unnecessary filler words without removing any of the important discussion points.
• How were they recorded?  Higher quality is easier, so costs less.  Poor-quality recordings, caused by, for example, poor internet connection and high levels of background noise, and strongly accented speech will add additional time to the transcription process.

Our team are important to us

Our prices start at £1.20 per minute plus VAT so we can pay our highly experienced transcriptionists a living wage. This has been calculated based on the industry standard for the time it takes to transcribe a one hour recording based on the various factors detailed above, and we feel strongly about valuing our high quality professional transcriptionists. Our pricing reflects this, and the quality of your finished product is a testament to the expertise of our team.
